Director

Christina Hill comes from her own Home Daycare program, which she operated for the last 15 years. She is experienced in organized activities that develop a child’s physical, emotional and social growth. Christina has 8 years experience with developmentally challenged children ranging in age from infant to 8 years old. She plans to continue her education in the near future.

Christina is an active member of the Vancouver Church of Christ, where she has attended all of her life. She has served the church on various committees, as a Sunday school teacher, working with our youth program and our summer VBS program.

Christina brings great passion and vision to Bright Beginnings and is  working with the Evergreen School District programs to assure that we are preparing your child for kindergarten.

Pam McCaughan

 Bright Beginnings Preschool welcomes Miss Pam back for her fifth year of teaching. Pam has her Bachelors of Arts degree in Education from Harding University. She is a certified teacher with 14 years of teaching experience in Special Education, Elementary, Preschool and Home School.  Pam specializes in classroom behavior management and is certified in First Aid and Adult, Child and Infant CPR/AED.

 Miss Pam is married to Shawn, who is a Director of Professional Services and Support. They have been married for 31 years. They have two grown children. Pam and Shawn attend Metro Church of Christ where Shawn serves as an Elder.

Denise Bratton

 Denise holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Redlands. While much of her experience is business related, she worked in the Riverside, California School District as a substitute teacher. Denise volunteers as a Sunday School Teacher and attends the Vancouver Church of Christ.

 Miss Denise is married to Nathan, who is a Train Conductor and they have been married for 9 years. She is the Mom of two children ages 5 and 7. She will be Co-Teaching the 3-year-old class with Kara Keels.

Kara Keels

 Kara Keels is our Co-Teacher for the 3-year-old class. She has a Bachelors of Liberal Arts degree, with a minor in Social Psychology, from Oregon State University, where she graduated with Honors.

 Kara comes to Bright Beginnings Preschool with a variety of experience. Since 2013 she has operated her own In Home Childcare program for children up to age 4 years. She currently volunteers in the Kids Ministry at House of Providence Church where her family attends. At Walnut Grove Elementary she assisted with the kindergarten program.

 Miss Kara is the Mom of three boys ages 2, 4, and 6 and is married to Daniel who is in the insurance business. They have been married for 10 years. She is active in her community and shared with us that “she leans heavy on Jesus for everything and strives to teach and reflect the characteristics of Jesus to her kids, her neighbors and to her friends and family.”
